RARE ANTIQUE PITCHER by Le Noir.
The pitcher measures 6 inches wide (including handle) x 5 tall and 3 inch dia inside
The hand-painted design is quite beautiful with repeated floral motifs. The condition of the piece is remarkable, especially in consideration of age. No damage. No chips, cracks . (See photos). Cream background with copper luster encasing the upper portion rim, mouth and spout with raised lusterware details also encircling these areas. Hand-painted pink flowers with blue dotted centers; green and copper lusterware leaves and small yellow accents trimmed in dark navy blue encircle this very special find. Copper lusterware encases the bottom/foot. Late 19th century. Visually evaluated by Dr. Lori Verderame by way of video call on September 2020. Priced below her recommendation.
